If you are buying or have already bought a used truck, chances are good that you are thinking of ways to personalize your truck to make it suit your needs and your aesthetic tastes. Here are some popular upgrade and accessorizing options that we can help you get on your used truck:

Upgraded Wheels and Tires

You can change the look of your used truck a great deal by upgrading your wheels and tires. Simply putting on a larger wheel and tire can make your used truck look more rugged and tough. However, you’ll need to make sure that your truck is capable of handling the larger system. Also, a lowering or lift kit might give you the style that you’re looking for and the performance you need, as it raises or lowers your body off the ground from the wheel base.

Custom Grills

Custom grills are an inexpensive way to personalize any used truck. Plus, they’re easy to install. We’re proud to show you a variety of grill options that may suit your preferences and used truck body.

Graphics

Many of our customers apply graphics and paint to their used trucks. In some cases, they’ll apply a company decal if they are going to use the used truck for a business purpose. In other cases, they may apply pinstripes or other graphics so enhance and personalize their trucks.

Rugged Accessories

Whether you need a rugged truck for work or for pleasure, applying rugged accessories is one way to personalize your truck quite effectively. Some rugged accessories include bull-bars, tube steps, light brush guards, and flood lights. You may even want to install flood lights on the roof to enhance your lighting options.

Exhaust Tips

You can enhance your used truck performance with customized exhaust tips and a cat-back exhaust system. Speak with our service department about options for your truck.

Bolt-Ons

Bolt-on body kits are accessories that you bolt onto the outside of your used truck, such as a roof spoiler. In some cases, these bolt-ons can increase your performance. In other cases, they simply offer a personalized aesthetic enhancement to your used truck. You may have to have a custom paint job when you apply bolt-ons, so speak with us about paint color matching options.

We’re always happy to help our customers find the customized solutions they need to make their used trucks truly their own. Contact us today at www.okotoksford.com  for more information and ideas.

Fun Ways to Customize Your Used Truck

If you are like many of our customers, chances are good that you not only want a used truck so that you can drive it around town, but you also want a used truck so that you can use it for play. We have helped hundreds of our customers find the parts and accessories they need to be able to use their truck for maximum performance and play value.

Here are some of the fun ways that you can customize your used truck:

Get a Camper Top

Whether you are an avid hunter, fisher, or explorer, you can take on our next adventure with a comfortable bed in tow. A camper top is a removable unit that will fit over the bed of your truck. The top will have windows to allow sunlight into the truck, but is secure and safe so that it cannot easily be removed or stolen.

Many of our customers use these camper tops to make sleeping and living accommodations on the road. Some of them install seats in the bed of the truck so that they can sit comfortably in beneath the camper top and wait out a rain storm. Other customers take along their sleeping bags and inflatable mattresses so that they can have a comfortable place to sleep during their adventure that is free from rain, snow, cold, and even wild animals.

Winter Tires - and Extra Large Tires

Most of our customers install winter tires on their used trucks so that they can travel safely during treacherous winter storms. Winter tires will help them to grip the road and stay in control.

Extra large tires come with large treads that will allow them to take on steep hills and rocky terrain. Extra large tires are sometimes just for show, but for many of our clients, they also help them explore the back country safely…or simply get through their dirt hunting roads without popping a tire.

Roof Racks

We offer a wide variety of roof rack parts and installations. Some customers need roof racks for the used trucks that they take to work, which might require a rack for tools or a ladder. Other customers need roof racks to stow their skis, mountain bikes, kayaks, and other toys. We can customize the installation of roof racks to meet the specific needs of our clients each time.
